14hr MOLD ASSESSORS & REMEDIATORS – Continuing Education

Description: This course is a 14-credit hour online continuing education distance-learning course. This course is designed as a tool to instruct Mold Assessors and Mold Remediators on elements defined in F.A.C 61-31.504 Continuing Requirements for Biennial Renewal.

This course relates to the practice of Mold Assessment and Mold Remediation by including such relevant topics as the prevention of mold and moisture; identification and assessment techniques; evaluation and sampling practices; and containment and remediation techniques as outlined in FS 468 and Rule 61 – 31.

Course sections include six (6) hours of instruction regarding water (moisture intrusion); four (4) hours of instruction regarding mold and mold safety, to include respiratory protection; two (2) hours of instruction regarding report writing, and two (2) hours of instruction regarding standards of practice as set forth in Rules 61-31.701 and 61-31.702.
