The state of Florida CILB Board requires all certified and registered contractors to complete 14 hours of continuing education every two years.

As a Broward County licensed General Building Contractor, Specialty Building Contractor or Engineer/Specialty Engineering Contractor, you are required to complete 4 hours of continuing education each renewal cycle.

If you are a tradesman or a contractor you must renew your license generally every two years. You will receive a renewal notice 2 months before the expiration of your active license. Each licensed holder is required to have 16 hours of continuing education credit hours.
