BACKFLOW TESTER RECERTIFICATION COURSE

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course is designed for water treatment plant operators, wastewater plant operators and plumbers who are being re-certified. Topics include how to apply protection and to prevent backflow, proper installation guidelines, elements of a comprehensive cross-connection control program, etc. ICC test procedures will be in this online Course. An Online examination will be given at the conclusion of the course.

BACKFLOW TESTER CERTIFICATION COURSE

4 Day Certification Course: $575.00

Any person wanting to be certified as a Backflow Prevention Tester must have attended and completed an approved comprehensive training program, such as our Backflow Prevention Testers Certification Course.  This course is 32 hours of classroom and “hands on” laboratory training, and has been approved by all our municipalities in Florida and the United States.

Who should attend?  The advanced plumbing apprentice, journeyman, plumbing & fire protection contractors, wastewater professionals, irrigation & landscaping specialists, and maintenance personnel, builders / developers etc.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

You must be able to demonstrate the proper field test procedure for:

  • RP (Reduced Pressure) principle
  • DCVA (Double Check Valve Assembly)
  • The PVB (Pressure Vacuum Breaker)
  • The AVB (Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker) & more.

Our instructors cover anything and everything you might be running into out in the field and assist you in any troubleshooting you are experiencing.  Our lead instructor is available for questions while you are in the field, if necessary.

Your Backflow Certification expires EVERY TWO (2) YEARS!  Please check your renewal date now and schedule your class immediately, as classes do fill up.  We hold 4 to 5 recertification classes every year.  They are just 8 hours to complete.  No CEU’s hours Provided for this course
