BACKFLOW REPAIR CERTIFICATION COURSE

2 Day Certification Course: $485.00

The purpose of this course is to teach safety techniques to the testers while installing and repairing their assemblies.  We work on many different large 6″ to 8″ manufacturers’ assemblies, such as:  Wilkins, Watts, Febco, Conbraco, Aimes and more!  We also review the smaller size assemblies, from 1/2″ to 2 – 3″.   After our instructors have shown students how to disassemble and troubleshoot each assembly, we review the theory again on the RP (Reduced Pressure Assemble) and the DCVA (Double Check Valve Assembly).  We review the math and methods for each device.

This course is 20 hours and offers 7Hrs of CEU credits for the Contractors License renewal.

Several municipalities are now mandating this course even to test backflows in their cities.  Backflow Testers should always check with each local water district to find out what other requirements are necessary to test.
